Here's a nutritious recipe to try with your family from KRISTI and TRISH!
Pumpkin Waffles:
1/3 cup oats (raw measure)
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
zero carb/cal sweetener of choice
2 TB plain canned pumpkin
1 TB low fat or fat free cottage cheese
1 TB protein powder
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
3 egg whites
1TB sugar free syrup
Blend all dry ingredients to a smooth flour texture. Combine dry and wet ingredients and blend to smooth batter texture. Spray waffle maker with cooking spray. Cook waffles as desired and top with cinnamon & syrup.
